Sunday Church Service Frequently Asked Questions
Our Christian church is on 4714 27th Street (just 1 block east of Cubby’s on 48th Ave.) in Columbus. To see a map or to get directions, click here.
Service begins at 10:30 am every Sunday.
At ELC, you come as you are. Our church family wears everything from casual dress to formal wear.
We have contemporary praise and worship that lasts 20–30 minutes.
Kindergarteners through 5th grade children are welcome to come early and build relationships as they enjoy a fun, game-filled environment with caring children’s workers. Once service begins your children will experience our excellent Children’s Ministry full of high-energy sermons and fun activities to help teach them the basics of God’s Word.
Of course! You can have your baby in service with you, or we provide a nursery staffed with loving individuals who will watch over your child during the service. If your baby needs you during the service, you will be notified by an usher.
We have stringent policies and procedures in place to keep your children safe, including a thorough background check on everyone who works with children and youth. Our volunteers are trained and love working with children and youth to help them grow in their walk with God.
We have parking on our lot as well as on the street available. For those who may not be comfortable with steps we have a second entrance on the west end of the building that is zero entry.
Yes, we do. We hold these special services a few times a year and as the need arises. Announcements are made for each in the church bulletin.
Yes. We receive the Communion meal during Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and at various times throughout the year.
